The art to apologizing is to say ‘thank you!’ Thank you for waiting for me, I hope you were not worried. I’ll call next time. Thank you for being patient with me yesterday. It meant alot.
If you are going to say sorry, try offering an apology instead. I’m sorry is about I or self. My apologies on being a jerk yesterday.
